CODO Requirements

Students are encouraged to work closely with their academic advisor in their current college/school in the selection and completion of coursework that will meet the requirements of the program and major they would like to pursue in the College of Science. They are also encouraged to meet with a Science advisor in their intended major to review degree requirements and to plan for a successful CODO process.

Per university regulations, students must meet CODO requirements and enter the College of Science to confer a science degree. Completion of all major and degree requirements by an undergraduate student outside of the College of Science will not result in automatic degree conferment. Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Education at (765) 494-1771 or by email at scienceadvising@purdue.edu regarding questions about this important University regulation.
