Ana Morales: Shepson Atmospheric Chemistry Group: Purdue University

Ana Morales

Ana is from Severna Park, Maryland and received her B.S. in Chemistry from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland in May 2017. Prior to beginning her studies at Purdue University, Ana briefly worked as a lab and field technician at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Maryland. Her current research involves collaborative efforts between the Shepson and A. Laskin groups at Purdue University to determine the formation and fate of organic nitrates produced from the oxidation of monoterpenes. Specifically, she is studying the product yields and hydrolysis rates of the oxidation products of the monoterpene ocimene.
