College of Science
Majors: Chemistry
I am an Academic Advisor in the College of Science for first and second year Chemistry students. I grew up on a farm in northcentral Indiana. I graduated from Purdue with a B.S. and M.S. in Management, with an emphasis in Information Technology. I also have a M.A. in Intercultural Leadership from Crown College. I worked 11 years in IT and over 15 years with non-profit organizations in areas of education, training, personal growth, and cross-cultural development. I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and lived 9 years in Eastern Europe. Yet I’ve always returned to the Purdue area.
Throughout my life I’ve been motivated to help others develop and succeed in their goals. Ever since my own graduation I have advised and assisted college students and high school youth in personal growth and life skills, wherever I have lived in the U.S. and abroad.
I love spending time with my three teenage children, traveling internationally, and experiencing new cultures. I also enjoy landscaping, home remodeling, spending time outdoors, and strategic board games.
