Marnie Maxwell

Project facilitator, Marnie Maxwell, works with nonprofit organizations and boards throughout the country in the areas of strategic planning, governance, marketing, and fund development planning. She has also been a faculty member of The Fund Raising School, a program of the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, since 1990.

Prior to her work as a consultant, Marnie was Vice President for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, one of the nation’s premier cultural institutions. Her museum experience includes leadership roles in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and earned income programs.

Marnie’s current volunteer work includes serving as board chair of Girls, Inc. of Indianapolis; and is a member of the boards of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting Foundation and the Indianapolis Art Center. She is a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Indianapolis.

Marnie received both a B.A. in journalism and an MBA in marketing from Indiana University.
