Renée was born in Watertown Connecticut and received her B.S. in Chemistry from Southern Connecticut State University in 2021 with a specialization in environmental chemistry. She double minored in Mathematics and Honors Interdisciplinary. She continues her academic career at Stony Brook University as a Ph.D. student in Atmospheric Chemistry under the advisement of Dr. Shepson. Her current research projects within the Shepson lab focuses on (in no particular order):

  1. The pursuit of minimizing uncertainties for greenhouse gas emission rate determination for Philadelphia, PA and other parts of the Northeast corridor through ALAR.
  2. Greenhouse gas quantification focusing on CH4, looking at the emission ratio between CH4/CO2 within the Northeast corridor and beyond.
  3. Processing and analysis of Seawolf R/V data, using the NE corridor tower network to analyze individual cases of interest.
