As we step into an era more progressive with inclusive initiatives it has become increasingly important for both companies to be conscious of these efforts and employees looking to work for these companies. Top inclusive employers have made expansive efforts to better themselves by creating a fair and welcoming environment to all in the workspace.
Properly expressing your identity in the workplace, and knowing your rights, is critical to professional success. As you begin or continue your professional journey, you may be wondering the following:

Resources
ACE Resource Center – The American Council for Education’s extensive resource center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in higher education. With over 50 available resources on this webpage, they cover a wide variety of topics including: Blogs, Conferences, Data in Higher Education, Undergraduate Programs related to DEI, Recognition Programs, and more.
America Needs You – America Needs You (ANY) focuses on economic mobility for ambitious first-generation college students through transformative mentorship and intensive career development.
Fair 360 - Fair 360 is a company rooted in strengthening diversity in the workplace through data clarity. Aside from this their resources include webinars, recognition of noteworthy companies, a job board, and putting stories related to diversity empowerment out to the general public.
DIVERSITYCOMM - Through news, information, and opportunity distribution, DIVERSITYCOMM is committed to creating a more inclusive workplace for both employers and employees. Job boards, e-communities, educational opportunities, and promoting the “best of the best” in diversity, are all available for perusing.

GU Cawley Career Education Center - Georgetown University's (GU) Cawley Career Education Center offers a comprehensive guide for all students of color. This also includes identity specific resources, including those for Asian and Pacific Islander American, Black, and African American, Hispanic and Latinx, and Indigenous/Native American populations.
INSIGHTIntoDiversity - Job board specifically from companies that are celebrated for promoting diversity. Also publishes articles relating to diversity in education.
Refinitiv T100 for DEI - Yearly ranking of the top 100 countries internationally for DEI history and progress. Allows for filtration by country and/or industry and gives rationalization behind scores.
USEEOC - US Department for Equal Employment (USEEOC). Assists in policy and policy education in equitable employment.
What to Do If You’re Asked Illegal Questions During an Interview – This article focuses on what can and cannot be asked during an interview with a potential employer. Knowing what questions should not be asked in an interview ahead of seeking career opportunities can be a component of choosing an employer that will be fair to your identity.
