Inclusive Resources for International Population

The route to finding employment after graduation can be streamlined by considering your options first. You may want to ask yourself the following questions:
- What career path do I want to pursue post-graduation?
- What country do I see myself living in?
Given the heavy international population at Purdue, it is necessary that we discuss the process of staying here in the United States post-graduation. Careful considerations must be made regarding keeping visas in good status, including:
- What common mistakes can invalidate visa renewal?
- Where can my Visa questions be answered?
- How do I begin looking for a job with an H1-B?
- What are my Visa options for work besides an H1-B?
- Who here at Purdue can better support my questions and needs regarding international status?
In preparation for taking your first steps away from Purdue as an alum, you should consider communicating with International Student and Scholars (Purdue ISS) to discuss any outstanding concerns you may have. Purdue ISS provides their educational resources and contact information at their website.
